Have been convinced over time that the only chance for healthy social media is a non-capitalist setup like the fediverse. What billionaire-owned social media platform can make a business case for having enough moderators?

Sharkey, this fediverse microblogging software humanwords.cc is on, is truly fantastic, and I think you should give it a look-see if you haven't already. It has perhaps the nicest, most useful UI of any current fediverse platform.

I admin humanwords.cc, by the way - I turned up this instance on Dec. 13, 2024. This isn't my first or only fediverse instance, in case it sounds like it's too new. I also run video.mycrowd.ca, a Peertube instance, and a couple of ActivityPub relays to help out smaller instances like my own.
