@nuintari @catsalad I think the default git-prompt.sh that ships with git on Debian does a reasonable job of being terse but informative, plus it's configurable.

@nuintari @catsalad For git checkouts, I do like the indication of "dirtiness" and being behind the remote branch, but only for small repos/on fast computers. In text, that is, not emoji.
