Just got a survey from AARP asking what issues I am interested in. I replied there is only one issue: The USA being turned into an authoritarian state/the loss of our democracy. I said AARP needed to get off its ass and join the fight against the Nazis--nothing else matters, for now.

Btw, I saw a surprising number of very old and/or very infirm people at the #NoKings here. They used canes, walkers, wore braces, some just shuffled, some even used the stick of their sign as a cane. Nothing would stop them.

If you didn’t go today, remember them the next time you have a choice to attend a protest.

For the creatives out there, even though applications will NOT get processed in the shutdown, you should still submit your copyright registration applications--they will be dated even if not processed. That date is super important--so keep up your registrations!
