@Gina my sister sent me pictures from Amerongen of her garden covered by snow, this morning, but she seemed happy about it 😂 I think she just lost her Italian passport rights

@Gina for long flights, I personally prefer a window seat on the left side (like the one you highlighted). I have trouble sleeping on planes, and that's the closest you can get to laying down against something. I rarely move during flights so I don't mind the window seat.

For shorter flights it's the other way around: aisle seat in the front, as I can't wait to get out of there 😁

@Gina in situations like this, I always lean towards prudence, so the 8am train. Yes, you may be stuck in your hotel room for a while, but isn't it better than having to run/rush, travel sweaty/flustered, and possibly miss the time you have to get there entirely?

@Gina if you weren't that far up north I would have sworn you were on the Circumvesuviana, the train we have here that connects Sorrento and Naples and that has been voted, more than once, as the worse train line in Italy for many years in a row 😁 Departing and not knowing when/if you'd arrive was pretty common
