It's pretty clear you made up your mind. I find the decentralized nature of Matrix important enough to not completely write it off because of bugs, but to each their own.
@Edent would you agree that Signal and Matrix are trying to solve different communication needs?
I appreciate what they're trying to achieve. I agree that the client and moderation tools situation is poor. You read about bigger communities like GrapheneOS slowly preferring Discord because of it. (Which in context of taking moderation action has a much, much worse track record than Matrix)
