The Canadian province of Alberta, where I live, has more cases of measles than the entire US. Our premier and our provincial health minister are antivax and they have prevented public health officials from attempting to speak to the public about the measles outbreak or recommending vaccinations. The province has also decimated our public health infrastructure.
