Many generations have passed since the merfolk ended the practice of using seduction to procure food, but Aava still knows the art of the Look

(this one's best viewed on a big screen; more mobile-friendly crops, process snapshots and such coming later. It's another personal record for most time spent on a painting, and I really like how it turned out, so you'll have to bear with me making a few posts out of it)

@djamilaknopf The light in this is so nice and nuanced, those leaves feel like I could reach out and touch them :) Here's mine, my first big success with gouache after getting into traditional painting last summer
