i have been in tears for most of the day.i have been in tears for most of the day. while i worked, while i ate, while i tried to do the things that needed to be done.
no need at all to reply, and i have nothing of any interest at all to say, but i'm trying to fedi for a bit rather than sink further because i'm not sure what's down there but i don't think it's good.

poor love is so stunned and wobbly after her big vet adventure that she's now hiding in various places upstairs and decided, as she has once or twice before when super stressed, to pee in one of the washing baskets. which is woven fibre and just sitting on the floorboards which also form the ceiling of the room below ...

i have just done my monthly taxes.i have just done my monthly taxes. since mid august (when i had to stop sales to the US*), my income has plummeted and i'm now making around 1/6 (if that) of what i was making before. we cannot survive on this.
if what la poste says is correct, i'll find out tomorrow whether i can realistically resume shipping to the US anytime in the foreseeable future. if i can't ... ...
i don't even know.*as a result of trump's tariffs and the removal of the de minimis exemption. my work is technically exempt, but unless i can find a feasible/affordable shipping option, and one that allows for the exemption (not all do), i'm doomed.

ok i know i've posted videos of sculptures burning before, but this one's extra interesting because you can see the white clay starting to go black from the carbon.ok i know i've posted videos of sculptures burning before, but this one's extra interesting because you can see the white clay starting to go black from the carbon. if you watch the square shape (the base of a house), you can see the inside starting to darken. it will eventually be (and in fact is) entirely black inside.
i also love seeing the glaze colours all muted like this, given how vibrant they become.
