ActivityPub was never supposed to be private. Just a way to interconnect blogs and stuff, but someone turned it into so called "social network" and now we have silos again…
Edit: I really don't understand why the need of E2EE in ActivityPub when ActivityPub is a protocol NOT made for private messaging.
