@elainemwill Gothic rock seems like kind of a gimmie for this one, but also it's literally nine pictures of different kinds of gargoyles, so it's not much else it could be. The band definitely insists they are post-punk and not goths, tho.

@davidrevoy Grok reminds me of this one Swedish childrens movie I saw as a kid where for complicated childrens story reason a poor family decides to pool all their money together and send the dad of the family to the circus, and it's very much implied that he took the money and fucked off to the pub, cus when he gets back he tells them all wonderous tales of all the fantastic things he saw at the circus and the whole ruse comes to a crashing halt when breathlessly describe the air acrobats as actually flying, like levitating off the ground, cus he was very clearly just bullshitting.

@hpkomic Know Your Rights by The Clash at least brushes up against similar themes and is one of my fav punk songs.

@jsstaedtler My go-to in this scenario is a pen and a sketchpad, just sort of doodle or take unnecessary notes. Although I'm just now realizing this might only work for me cus I'm left-handed, but use my mouse right-handed, so people who aren't ambidextrous or at least have the semi-ambidexterity that comes from being a leftie in a right-handed society might not be able to pull that off as well.
