Let's talk about sync between devices.

- There is no sync.
- It is not possible start playing on mobile, and then stop or switch the next song on PC/car. I'm using this feature in many cases. To control what is playing in living room, to continue listening on laptop what I was listening on phone during commute, etc.
- Even worse, it does not sync which podcast episodes I completed. There was a week when Android auto automatically started the same episode each time I started the engine...

Cons? Many of them. Let's start with Podcasts.

- There are no notifications of new episodes! At least I had Spotify installed still and was relying on it's notifications.
- 2/7 of my podcasts were unavailable. These missing podcasts were published on Youtube channel as videos, but not on YT Music. This is probably producer problem, but as end user - I can't listen to them. Tried to contact podcast producers to fix this, but had no luck yet. Maybe adding via RSS would work.

Pros:
- YT Music is included in Youtube Premium subscription.
- There is some music which is unavailable on Spotify (and vice versa). I was able to find most artists i wanted. Very few were missing on one or another side. However, YT has some long mixes that are unavailable on Spotify.
- Different types of autoplay is a nice feature. When playing a mix, it is possible to pick how next songs will be selected. e.g. "familiar", "popular", some styles. Good way to explore!

A while ago I've shared my yearly online service expenses. @ignas asked why I'm using Spotify but not YT Music while having Youtube Premium account. Decided to run an experiment and live with YT Music for a month. The month haven't passed yet but I'm returning back to Spotify, at least for 1 more year.

I've compared both services and collect notes. Bare in mind, I'm long time Spotify user so observations are impacted by that.
