Good morning! Baloo is feeling so much better! E veryone was snuggled up in bed until Callisto decided we'd had enough of that business and woke everyone up by rolling around and smacking us with her paws. It's time for me to do a hard workout but first... day 9 of the Advent calendar! More rocks, yay rocks! I hope i can find a list somewhere of what all the rocks are. Because the Ai doesn't tell me. Today I teach high school and then come home to do paperwork. Also in sad news I had a hand spasm, dropped my new heated milk frother in a sink full of water and now it no longer works. Grr! But the coffee was still good. Anyway, I should stop sitting on my behind and move my body, eh? Make it a great day!

It's here!!! I can't decide if I want to look at pictures or read a book! Why this is a big deal is because all of my other braille displays have one line so if you are a person who can see imagine that you only get between 20 and 40 characters before you need to scroll on one line. That is how I read all of the time. This display has a one line display at the bottom, yes, but at the top there is a larger display that is 30 x 10 that lets you read multiple lines at once or… Look at pictures! This is life-changing for me! #DeafBlind

Good morning from the land of the poor person's salted caramel mocha. This is where you pull some shots of espresso, add a pack of salted caramel swiss miss to it, stir it up, and then top it with hot frothed milk. It's my last day of work until December. One of the most fun parts of being an independent contractor is the uncertainty of payday. I've been stressing out pretty hardcore because a bunch of bills were coming out and nothing was going in. Today I finally got paid! I'm now off to amazon to buy important stuff like replacement gas cans for my sparkling water machine and tripe sticks for dogs. Mother Hubbard cupboard is very bare.

Dear universe, Just a reminder... Audio books are real books. Kindle or other ebooks are real books. Braille books are real books... Basically if someone wrote a book, it's *real* This is for all y'all who Say "real books" when you mean hard copy print book. This is ableist as fuck, please stop doing it. No love, a teacher who is trying to get her students to love books and who has to constantly fight about this stupid fucking topic with ableist jerks.
