@hpod16 @lucien You're welcome! I do think they should rename these to "direct messages", I think the #Mastodon has a hangup about the verbiage, although I can't remember exactly what it is or why.

@lucien @hpod16 There's a tab in the #Mastodon interface for "private mentions", it seems a whole lot like an inbox to me.

@hpod16 @lucien I thought that private mentions are DMs. What's the difference between those and DMs?

@lucien @hpod16 What's wrong with #Mastodon's #UX? I think it's great. I find it to be about as usable as #X, maybe even less confusing due to the lack of feature creep.
