I played #FrostPunk in the last couple weeks. Interesting game, as it combines the city builder mechanics with goals and endings, which I hated not having in Sim City back in the days.The world is cool too, and the options are interesting if shallow (would you like to be a fascist or a religious dictator?).The game is also intentionally frustrating which works with the setting.It has terrible UX imo, but give it a try#videogames #gaming

I hate passkeys with a passion.I understand the improvement they provide over passwords + TOTP but they're so much harder to use.I wanted to login with my primevideo account in my son's browser and *I gave up* even tho my password manager does have the passkey in it, cause I can't manage to use it.Maybe in a few years this will be hammered out, like we stopped inputting WI-FI SSID+PWD by hand but I think the amount of pain will be crazy.

Scott Adams of #Dilbert fame is dead. He became a horrible person towards the end (or maybe always was, but wasn't comfortable showing it), but I will always be fond of my memories of reading his comics.I think I also have a copy of "the Dilbert principle" somewhere, which I got from a boss, who bought it used in a coffee shop.I will maybe look for it when I get to my parents' place, and read it again, and remember when the world seemed simpler and funnier, but just as much nonsensical.
