"Early Texas boomtown, possibly Orangefield.@chongliss I'm not doing an extensive investigation here. I was just looking for pics of an "Old Plank Road", as in the 1926 recording of that name by Uncle Dave Macon. Seems like the archive wasn't inclined to follow up on the Carr Hotel clue either.
