i've been disappointed enough times to not believe in a ceasefire in Gaza until i see one.
doesn't matter if there's a signed agreement. i won't believe it until i see one.
even once the ceasefire starts, i won't believe that it continues until i see it.
and if the first hostage gets released i still won't believe the rest are gonna get released until they do
and if the IDF goes one km back i won't believe they'll go the second.
and if food starts flowing in i won't believe that's gonna last.
and until proven wrong i'm gonna assume Israel will start bombing again the second the last hostage is back. or even before that.
i'm not gonna believe in a ceasefire until i see one, and definitely not in a long term peace until that happens.

you're allowed to get optimistic. i'm not saying optimism is the wrong reaction in this moment. maybe it is, idk.
it's just that i've been hurt enough times that i can't be optimistic anymore.
