I have an opportunity for an incredible leap in digitization capability for $1000. If I can get $1000 by one or multiple people, a process that is planned for years will spike downward to a huge degree. Sorry to be mysterious. Email me if you have a sack of cash you want to do something very good.

It's not about rhyme or reason or being careful - there are doubles, the contents may be different than the labels, and of course many scanned labels seem weird or dirty - likely they've seen the floors of offices for years.

But they exist now. Someone can download them, curate them, find the value. I hope they have a joy doing it. For me - it's about moving on through the next few thousand.

Next on the digitization death march are 3.5" floppies. I've been sent thousands of them over the years. I'm going to just image and scan them and pack them for perm storage.
