@timnitGebru You can't call out the "western left" if you are one yourself. Didn't you once work for Google? Don't you live out in California? You're not in the Eastern hemisphere. We've heard you speak English. You don't have any accent. You were born somewhere else but live in the Empire now? You're a member of the Western Left.

Haven't you spoken to the Greens? What did your country's biggest leftist political party tell you? Oh you haven't actually spoken to the Left. Who you speaking to, then, Cuba? Oh you dont speak Spanish? Yet some how you know the "western left"? WTF is happening right now?

The western left is very vast and diverse. You're better off naming actual people instead of dissing yourself and el Pacto Historico or the EZLN or whatever it is you're talking about.

The CIA does a better job at dividing folks than this. Name somebody. Give a more precise critique of the actual people you want to see do different. Win hearts and minds, don't point fingers are millions of people, educate.

The entire experience of being an activist is not being heard enough. It's not the fault of this vague generalized "western left". They don't dominate the media. And if you're just talking about youtubers, they are not the left either and are never seen in demonstrations and direct actions. Theyre just youtube influencers not the real deal. Youre punching air thinking a wall is a person with ears and a mind when it really is just a wall and the only thing getting hit is air.

Do a documentary, like that wackjob did for KONY2012. Unlike him, you can do it authentically and honestly. Just dont attack millions of leftists drowning in their own missions and dont compare genocides. Make friends with actual political scientists and educate us.
