@Edent It's rooted in german comedy culture on a level, that the main actor himself parodied Stromberg in another comedy show, where he is Adolf Hitler and the whole Office-Setting is sort of the Nazi-Headquarter. 😄

I do not know about sources with subtitles, but "Stromberg", the german adaption of "The Office" is great, in my opinion. It has a lot of similarities, but it has enough different spin to not be just a remake. Bernd Stromberg, the protagonist, has a great balance of "He is a racist, misogynist asshole, but somehow likable". 🙂
