@humanhorseshoes @Gina not my dad. He cared a lot about mistakes but had a knack for languages and soldered on. He learned Italian because of a nostalgia for 50's canzoni :)

@Gina learning a new language in group lessons worked nicely for my dad. Socially and intellectually empowering.
