TIL, there is a term for huge human job loss created by technology like AI or other such stuff.@nixCraft akshually 🤓, enshittification and deskilling are independent processes... you may enshittify a company (attract users with a great product, trap them and then extract every ounce of value at their expense) without deskilling your workers at all... Google or Facebook are not enshittified because of unskilled workers, maybe the opposite, as dark patterns are not simpler but even more technically demanding
