Web design in the early 2000s: Every 100ms of latency on page load costs visitors.@david_chisnall that problem is actually mostly due to… let me check notes… effin BigTech disregarding any dicency and trying to scrap absolutelly everything..
on the other hand - cramming the website with JS so it's a dozens of MB blob that takes ages to download just to show some text is even more stupid ;)
