@skinnylatte but, also, it took me years to begin to understand how wealth moves. If you go to Stanford, you're already rubbing elbows with the money people at 22. If you go to community college, you're...not. You're just so much more likely to succeed on your first throw when your dart is accelerated by a huge sum of money from connected investors.

@knowler @matuzo ah yeah, I see it's more about the button for the openable than the openable element itself.These differences are why I lean towards just making proper tabs.Though we could special case if the button has a role of tab that it sets aria-selected instead.

@mcc @whitequark @ariadne @lina I haven't really paid attention to what android and apple are doing these days, but i think a lot of this would be solvable by having some permissions be aggregates. e.g. "The web page wants to get the video calling and streaming permissions (fine print: which expand to blah blah blah and blah)". You unfortunately can't really let the application control the aggregate, but I think you could do a good job of simplifying the common use-cases for both apps and users.

Then the tickle-me-elmo money subsided and his AI startup ran out of money too ($1b/month burn rate), so he merged it into his space company with big NASA contracts. But subtracting $1b/month from $16b/year gross income means that's not looking great, so he's asking wall street for money.

@eniko YouTube search has also gotten worse as well, I can't help but feel like it's recommending videos based on my watch history, or videos from YouTube channels that I subscribed.Sometimes completely irrelevant videos show up that have nothing to do with my search query show up just because a YouTube channel that I subscribed to uploaded a new video.It's so irritating and I feel like YouTube just really butchered the search system, I think to describe it simply, it just feel like the second algorithmetic YouTube Homepage where YouTube pushes videos that THEY want you to watch, rather what YOU want to watch.
