We chose not to build Fool Front around the usual social media loop. We’re not interested in playing the meta-game or shaping what we do around algorithms and engagement. Social pages exist only to point back here. We also support @kenobit and use livellosegreto.it, a decentralized space. We want a slower, direct relationship with music, and we stand firmly against racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and any form of hatred.

@jon To be clear I use Vivaldi as a secondary browser, but you are not the opposite of big tech, you would need to be a foundation or similar for that. You also would need to be fully open source and community driven, which you are not.
Of the corporate browsers you are the best, but you are still a corporate browser, with corporate goals, and due to your codebase, assisting Google and Microsoft's goals to capture the web via Chromium.

We added our Vivaldi Social server to the Fediverse on November 15th 2022. We are still, I believe, the only browser company that is fully behind the Fediverse. It is something we are very proud of! The Fediverse is the natural alternative to Big Tech social media, just like, IMHO, Vivaldi is the natural alternative to Big Tech browsers.
