Wondering if people know how to handle this issue with #GoFundMe. A GFM for my friend has had its transfers paused since December 23 (and currently has $1.2k just sitting on it). For a month, GFM promised that they were "working on verifying it."It is now February 20, and they have not verified it and they will not respond to further inquiry. I don't like that they're basically holding money that is not theirs while pretending to "verify" the account (despite having been provided with every amount of information demanded in order for them to "verify" it).So I either want to know how to push them to verify it and transfer the money (as they should) or refund the money to the people who paid it (because their money is certainly not being used as they intended it to — a corrupt nonprofit is keeping it rather than it being sent to help someone who is struggling).
