@Geri @wonka Part of the problem is the fascist plausibility distortion field. An accurate account of what they are and what they stand for (Trumpist sociopaths who want concentration camps and government by private company) *sounds* outlandish, hyperbolic. The BBC aren't saying that, it can't be true. They must be a normal party, and immigrants and trans people *are* scary, it's just common sense...The seriousness of the warning signs repels people from looking at them.
