@elena I have a nerd wife. Instead of arguing about which restaurant to eat at we argue about opening firewall ports, do we put the one device on the same guest network as the in-laws or its own (more out of fear of what the in-laws bring), who gets to upgrade their machine(s), why she gets a fancier web cam, what am I *really* storing on the NAS, etc.

Of course, the nerdly hobbies is where it gets fun :D

@AnnieG ooooooh I LOVE the concept of #NerdGrandma - I wish my mom would become one for my little one.

I haven't tried installing Bonfire via YunoHost (I need to see if it's available) but for Ghost I would recommend a manual installation via Ghost CLI. I have done it last year and it's still possible for a while (Ghosy v7 will move to Docker only).

If you ever need any help/guidance, feel free to get in touch. I'm still a newbie but I've done my fair share of self-hosting experiments

I've asked my 5-year-old to teach me how to sew because she learned in pre-school and she's really talented at that. She's very proud that she can excel at something mom and dad can't do 😅​

@elena following your journey going from "hey this stuff isn't that bad" to full blown passion is really fun to see. Just don't forget that this stuff IS complicated, but that there is a lot of fun to be had in solving the problems. Especially if you get to share the results and gains of the solutions. Keep it up, don't give up. You've got this!
