Release v2.4.14 of Ktistec is small in terms of features and fixes, but it improves in two areas where I thought Ktistec was weak: light/dark mode support and autosave.
I'm not hardcore dark mode, but I do prefer it in some cases. Ktistec selects light or dark mode based on the browser or system setting—there is currently no means to select the mode directly. A nice side effect of light/dark mode support is that custom theming support comes nearly for free.

I post my fair share of one-line bits of wisdom, but I started building Ktistec because I wanted a space to write long form, and existing Fediverse platforms were more for social interaction. When writing long form, autosaving is an essential feature. Ktistec will now autosave draft posts and replies. If you navigate away before publishing, you can always find the incomplete draft in the Drafts collection which is accessible from your timeline page.

Il caso della roccetta poi è emblematico di persona che ci sta abituando a cosette stupidelle che non fanno più boato , ma solo piccoli stridii .Stiamo attenti a non cadere nella trappola del farci il callo .

Cotale ministra già si era distinta per altre uscite fuori di testa in passato, ma penso che qui siamo andati oltre ogni limite immaginabile 😱
La cosa + singolare è: se qualcuno di sinistra avesse anche solo lontanamente detto simili frasi ignobili, i giornali e tv del regime di destra se la sarebbero mangiata viva
Invece già oggi quasi non ne parla più NESSUNO...

@cmdr_nova you could fetch daily o weekly a list of known public instances and use for search your local list instead of browsing the entire fediverse... or some other hattrick thay you could surely figure out. Good luck and keep up the good work!

@gubi yeah, that's something i need to work on, because the search function is only looking through the instances that are currently loaded rather than the 20,000+ directory (it was very slow with it searching through this and I haven't figured out a workaround yet)

@cmdr_nova the procedure you suggested is working, but the "find instance" search returns empty results for sociale.network...

@gubi I'm still working out some issues with the search function, but if you type sociale.network into the "change instance" dialogue, it should show you the timeline easy peasy
