    Right now, when you cross-post something to your forum, it is represented by the "clone" icon, or two overlapping squares.

    I'm running back through the Spanish translation files, and there's actually a lot that isn't translated (the strings are in English). I'm going to start going through and cleaning things up.

    Is there anyone I should be working with, or checking in with, or should I just submit my edits and reviews of content?

    ireneista@adhd.irenes.space the root post was originally published with a far future timestamp but that has since been updated to reflect the actual posting date.

    Was a bug with the original federation code but I'm surprised your still seeing this post as from the future?

    We have just released v4.6.0 of NodeBB, containing fixes to our ActivityPub integration, minor fixes with SCSS, and some new functionality with topic templating.

    :globe_with_meridians: ActivityPub Fixes WordPress blogs can be properly pulled into NodeBB (via their URL) now Fixed an error when moving a remote topic to another category This also fixed the issue where moved topics didn't update topic/post counters Fixed bug where NodeBB could not properly process Link headers when it contained the standalone crossorigin directive Notifications for replies to topics made in remote categories now show the appropriate user Fixed bug where remote users were not able to post to a local category if registered-users privilege was removed (now checks fediverse pseudo-user) Nested remote categories can now be removed from the ACP Remote categories can be renamed for de-duplication purposes Improved title generation for quote-posts Core fixes Persona theme now shows hidden (zero-character) links in post content _variables.scss page in ACP > Appearance can now override Bootstrap variables A template can be provided in a category's settings. This template is auto-populated in the composer when a new topic is being authored.

    Fediverso che avanza: il blog e il forum degli Androidiani rinascono con il supporto di Activitypub Il blog Androidiani.net (questo che state leggendo) parla ora il linguaggio del Fediverso. #WordPress è stato collegato ad #ActivityPub, il protocollo che permette ai contenuti di vivere oltre i confini del singolo sito. Questo significa che ogni articolo pubblicato qui non resta chiuso dentro un dominio, ma diventa un oggetto federato: può essere seguito, commentato e condiviso direttamente da Mastodon, Firefish, Misskey e da qualsiasi altra piattaforma compatibile con ActivityPub. Non serve un account qui per partecipare alla conversazione, non serve iscriversi a un social centralizzato, non serve passare da un algoritmo che decide cosa merita attenzione e cosa no.Il forum, invece, non è “solo” un forum. Androidiani.net utilizza appunto #NodeBB, che non è semplicemente un software moderno ma una vera e propria istanza federata. Anche qui, i thread non sono più silos isolati: diventano parte del flusso del Fediverso. Le discussioni possono essere seguite dall’esterno, gli utenti del Fediverso possono interagire, rispondere, partecipare. È una comunità che non vive chiusa in una piattaforma ma si connette a una rete più ampia, distribuita, resiliente.@fediversoandroidiani.net/

    @elettrona sì ma gup.pe non veniva utilizzato perché fosse estremamente ricco di funzionalità Ma solo perché era il primo servizio pensato per un utilizzo di massa. Ora #fedigroups è la stessa cosa di gup.pe, ma in questi ultimi anni si sono affermati sistemi molto più Pratici e con possibilità di moderazione migliori, come quelli delle piattaforme che ho menzionato. Noi stessi abbiamo creato poliverso.org dove è possibile creare account gruppi gestibili direttamente dal proprio account Friendica; feddit.it basato su Lemmy dove abbiamo liberalizzato la possibilità per tutti gli utenti iscritti di creare una nuova comunità tematica; e soprattutto citiverse.it con NodeBB che in questo momento è oggettivamente la piattaforma più interessante del Fediverso. Credo quindi che il tempo del software di gup.pe sia un po' tramontato@fediverso
