Well, there you go.Only just made a Bluesky account, thinking it would help me promote my books a little farther.
Felt kinda uncomfortable with it, to be honest, but saw it as an obligation.But nope. You gave me the perfect excuse to get and stay off.
Me and my 9 measly followers won't make that big of a difference, but I'm gone.Readers on the Fedi are better, anyway 😜

Yeah, you know, funny timing… I was considering holding my nose and creating an account there just to have a presence so once in a while I could announce when I had new photos available for sale, even if it was just to direct people to mastodon or my website, but nah, fuck that.

ICE got verified* BUT is also, in under 24 hours, the 3rd most blocked account on the site. (Please note these “blocked” stats don’t include moderation lists, these are just individual users - for example, JD Vance is being blocked by over a million actual users via block/moderation lists)*On BlueSky verification is basically the same as Mastodon. It just means “yes, it’s them”
