This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I probably can't remember half the websites I've ended up with accounts on over the years. For instance, the other day I found out I had a seetickets account from over a decade ago which was still kicking around, and I only found this out because they sent me a password reset as part of a migration to SSO.
Most people don't remember URLs, they might remember to open an app if you keep them logged in long enough. Maybe they might bookmark something.
