@Natasha_Jay Nah, in the late 90s/early 00s there were about 20 people on the internet, with a *lot* of socks.
Honestly, the number of people I kept running into in different places...

I was interwebbing mainly at work bt maybe 1995 and then more online by 1997, though there was still a lot of faxing back then@Natasha_Jay I remember faxes.
I also vaguely remember some form of online service for my ZX Spectrum.
And early Netscape on a monochrome laptop screen.
