@KrissyKat It still baffles me that you have to register to vote. Or that registration can be suspended, apparently. Hereabouts, there are laws that determine what kinds of elections you may vote in, depending on citizenship and the home address registered with the authorities. You don't have to do anything. They'll send you the information about the upcoming election in the mail, including instructions on how to vote via mail-in ballot. Then, you just show up, hand them your ID, vote, go home. Simple.

@KrissyKat I do not feel comfortable sharing a country with a lot of these southern states. They do not share our values and they screw us over federally.

Texas is not a red state except that voter suppression makes it so. This is not democracy.
