For notifications, which format would you prefer more, this https://smithereen.software/docs/api/methods/notifications.get/ or something even more deduplicated with `wall_posts`, `comments`, `photos`, and `board_topics` as separate arrays? Or maybe something else?

To be more clear, here are examples of the two options I'm undecided between. Which one do you like more? Which one would be easier for you to work with?

Your Home Feed is the inbox of an ActivityPub actor — in particular YOUR ActivityPub actor.
There could be an actor for each hash-tag, too.
You could even do Del.icio.us like things — and have actors for intersections of hash-tags, too.
These hash-tag actors' inboxes would need to be readable by anyone.
...
This could be a more ActivityPub like API alternative to Mastodon's "GET /API/v1/tags/{name}" API.

@hongminhee How hard would it be for a future version of ActivityPub to simply back out JSON-LD support? Would there be a downside to this?

@julian Yes, POST to personal inbox sends a 404, POST to group inbox sends a 202 (I guess group inbox is how we communicate now).

@julian @liaizon https://activitypub.space/uid/1/inbox still returns 404. Perhaps group's inbox is working?
UPD: yes https://activitypub.space/category/5/inbox returns 202

@evan I think this is one of the problems with Mastodon being the go to for people in the fediverse, and is also why I've been looking things up and trying to work out how the good ol concept Google+ had could work well in the fediverse, and also supporting all the features of ActivityPub instead of using its own thing, and I even had the idea that if I can get a service like that off the ground, I'd be happy for a non-biased nonprofit organisation to take over. A name for it I thought of is Fedi+ and if eventually that was to be ran by something like the Social Web Foundation or something, that could really help the fediverse at large.
