Tanto per fargli sapere che c'è un'alternativa a Facebook e che c'è gente che vorrebbe leggerli anche di qua.

Sì, però raggiungere 10-20 persone su Facebook ha i suoi costi e il suo livello di difficoltà, raggiungerne milioni con una campagna stampa è tutto un altro paio di maniche.

Forse è più efficace lavorare su due fronti: rendere l’esperienza Fediverso migliore (usabilità, contenuti,..) e aumentare la consapevolezza del perché sia un’alternativa ai social commerciali. Più che una petizione “a persone”, punterei a una campagna informativa (anche offline, es. stampa) in momenti di attenzione pubblica, spiegando vantaggi concreti e come iniziare, senza colpevolizzare nessuno.

L’idea della petizione è simpatica e, in teoria, condivisibile. Però temo che così com’è rischi di fallire: il #Fediverso ed il #softwareLibero non si “impiantano” dall’alto, come non si “esporta” la democrazia senza un percorso culturale. Molti non percepiscono ancora perché sia importante e, anche provandolo, lo abbandonano se lo trovano “vuoto”.
Inoltre: che forma avrebbe la petizione? Invitare singoli nomi potrebbe farli sentire bersagliati?

Una cosa tipica dei nuovi arrivati nel #fediverso proveniente dall'internet commerciale è "qui non succede niente", questo è morto...
Ma COSA VUOI CHE ACCADA? Cosa stai aspettando? Qualcosa di sensazionalistico? Morboso? Umiliante? Qualcosa che ti faccia saltare di rabbia e lanciare insulti? O desiderare follemente quel viaggio/scarpe/acqua di colonia/corpo che non è alla tua portata.
