I'd like to create a custom #Fediverse t-shirt for my upcoming talk at #BerlinFediDay.
I thought of maybe using the Fediverse logo as the "O" for "HOPE". What do you think? Trying to gauge if it's cheesy or not, I'd love some external opinion 😅

HOPE (Hackers on Planet Earth) is a different conference
EDIT: but it's a beautiful design, I should add, after posting the above, rushing out, realizing it could come across as unintendedly negative, and remaining in misery about that until I could get back online and mend it 😉

Update: inspired by @thisislieven I tweaked the design and used an actual "O" behind the Fediverse symbol... So that people wouldn't confuse the word with "HAPE" or "HYPE".
I've ordered a tee in blue and another in red. I hope they turn out ok! 😅

@lxo thanks Alexandre! So funny, last night I had a dream I was at an hackers conference (one of only two women on a panel). Aw if only I could learn the skills 😅 Love the HOPE name for it ❤️

@_elena I like the idea of indicating the "O" but think that the full O is too overwhelming. How about just a circle instead?

@simonzerafa I might... there is always the tricky issue of finding an ethical company that creates t-shirts using organic materials... if people have recommendations, I'm all ears :)

Sorry I've been a little MIA lately, but it's been a hectic time, returning to Paris after 2+ months away.
Some news about the Fediverse HOPE t-shirts:
The blue one had a little flaw (logo too high up) so I'm having it redone in the same soft material as the red one (which turned out perfect). This means I have a SPARE to give away at #BerlinFediDay next week (it looks good TBH!)
📏 Size small unisex (but quite big IMHO)
