Lovely!
I have an ErgoDash, now, but I'm very much tempted by the Piantor Pro BT.
I could use my (almost) 10 years old kids as excuse: I can put the ErgoDash on his desk and buy the Piantor Oro BT for me...
I'm a bit scared by the reduced number of keys, since I'm not a touch-typer: how is it with 36?

One week is waaaay too few.
I'd go for at least two, better three.
Or, bare bare minimum 10 days, Tokyo only.Try taking a look at this https://marcoxbresciani.codeberg.page/japan/viaggio-in-giappone.html it's a guide in Italian language I'm writing for friends, colleagues and acquaintances asking me sooo many times about Japan.
Google translate should work fine.
Any question, feel free to ask. -

Travel there for (almost) leisure: Japanese wife.
Last year I "randomly" chose the hotel at about 100m from YushaKobo... -
