i have cast on (sorry what do we call this when it's crochet instead of knitting??) a wavy blanket. i have larger quantities of like five individual very pastel sunset-y colors that will be pretty in wavy stripes. it's definitely slower than just doing squares of double crochets. i felt inspired by the replies, thank you!!
