@underlap I can easily refund the transactions, but for this I'm waiting for feedback from Buy Me A Coffe's support.

But over the past week or so I got 3 donations of $6 or $9 each. All the transactions come from Hotmail addresses with usernames consisting of random sequences of letters and numbers, associated with Mastercard cards and accounts at the same bank.

This looks off and I reported it to Buy Me A Coffee but I'm wondering whether it's just me.

@thollief Right, I'm familiar with the metatphor. I'd add a similarity with the early days of radioactivity, when such substances were used everywhere including in kid products and beverages, as well as Thalidomide and CFCs.

These shiny new technologies were initially crammed everywhere. History shows that "progress" can and has been stopped or highly limited.

V86 is an x86 emulator that runs in the browser. It supports a selection of preconfigured historical and current operating systems, including a few rarely emulated ones such as Windows CE, and you can upload your own operating system image.

V86 is similar to the popular PCjs.

@tuparev Power users probably prefer directly typing code in a formatting language as WYSIWYG editors introduce friction.
