@karhutar @thordis It's weird I get just lumped into this big GenX thing too. GenX includes like 15 years of births. I'm low-mid 70's and I didn't exactly hang out a bunch with the late 60's kids. Not that I didn't really want to, but they wouldn't. So we don't actually share a lot in common. I like Def Leopard and Foreigner OK but I'm actually more into Slayer. They witnessed and remember more of Carter and Reagan than I did and do. Actually experienced the 80's while I'm more 90's.

@Gargron LibreWolf is firefox based, doesn't currently have AI, and supports uBlock (I think it may come by default but I install it a weird way so I'm not sure).

Can't tell you about the rest of it. Not sure if it not having AI is just a face thing or not, but I never have to look at it (except it's in all the search engines now too and librewolf clears preferences that turn it off by default).

@PavelASamsonov @mwshook @kwramm @ahltorp A kanban like board is used. Pretty much all the agile methodologies use them. Scrum adds a bunch of other stuff that made it acceptable to PM types when Agile was newer. Now Agile is fairly well recognized as a valid approach to PM.

Most teams are probably better off going more the LEAN route than Scrum. LEAN is basically, KanBan+ whatever works--the object to whittle down your process to the bare essentials so you can just make stuff.

@mwshook @PavelASamsonov It's actually not that bad as a starting point. One of the heavier agile process systems but it's workable and it works within a large business that expects a bunch of process. Has established roles that are well described, which is pretty important if you are required to work within the bounds of a QMS.

People love to hate on it but it's better than a lot of the alternatives. Provides some structure for leaders who can't seem to come up with any otherwise.

@rationaldoge It seems to me that given that they are free to lie to you about what they have; that you have no real idea what the correct form looks like; and if they have the right to enter they just will regardless of your permission... that you should just say no and let them do what they're gonna do.

It's not going to be long before this argument is used against those who say, "Murderer!" We should expect accusations of slander and sedition based on this very premise.

@veranderwens @jeffjarvis They're basically immune from prosecution. It's going to take violence to stop this. We keep trying for the peaceful way, but this is a war president hell bent on going to war with his own people.

This is a total mess right now. I don't know if anyone can get enough of what I'm meaning to decide if they're interested. The organization part is hard for me... Today I'm going to code so... I don't know when I'll have enough to be comfortable so I'm just doing this. I won't be able to accomplish this on my own. I can build my own little network but it would be just another home lab.

@chatcontrol There should be some thing where if a leader or lobbyist or whatever just keeps trying to bring up the same bullshit everyone said no to already a hundred times before...people should just be free to kick their fucking ass every day for 10 years.

That's fucking irritating. In what other arena of human activity is that shit tolerated?
