Question for digital artists.
I consider upgrading my equipment a bit. I may be able to buy a used Cintiq Pro 24 (7,2kg) with a Flex Arm (9kg).
I also consider getting a Bekant Ikea desk...
But my worry is, will that desk be able to handle the arm mounted with 16,2kg on one point?

My gf got a Bekant, it seems kinda solid, but a bit thin, at about 1,5cm, while recommended for Flex Arm is 2,5cm and up. And this isn't even solid wood, so I'm a bit worried...
16kg is heavy... if anyone got the Flex Arm, what do you have it mounted on?

Right now I'm using an old desk from 1996, I don't think its solid wood, but its a bit thicker than whatever you get from Ikea these days, but I want to be able to stand up while drawing too...

EVE from Stellar Blade.

I wanted my first piece of the year to be a challenge, so having just finished Stellar Blade on PC, I decided I'd go for EVE. I've always struggled with drawing clothes and costumes from reference, and her standard nanosuit turned out to be alot more difficult than I had thought. Maybe it was my fault for using different references... turns out there are slight differences between concept art and in game screenshots.

So this version is kinda more nanosuit inspired than anything.

But at least I gave it an honest try. The game is great, probably my favorite game from 2025, and I hope I could do this character justice.

Kumino Otoko.

Episode 10 of the original Urusei Yatsura is where I fell in love with the series. It showed it was more than just funny gags and sexy aliens. It had a heart.

I always got a nice wintery christmas mood from the end of this episode, so I thought drawing Lum (dressed as Kumino Otoko) would make for a nice holiday drawing.

The one thing I really like in Transport Fever 2 is how trucks are actually useful, as they can ship goods to train stations.
I believe that's one possibility in OpenTTD now too, but lets be honest... who plays OpenTTD for trucks?

Decided to check out Transport Fever 2, seemed like a modern take on Transport Tycoon.

And it is!... there's a lot of things in it I love, but I really struggle to start out, so I keep just going back to OpenTTD instead. That's the one I know and love.

Lord of Kokan the Great was an amazing episode of Panty & Stocking.
It took all the tropes from 80s fantasy movies and just went wild with it under some VHS filter. Just really fun animation and great vibes. Loved every second of it.
