Alonso has hiccups. He does not think it is as funny as we do. π

Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again. -
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Alonso was delivered with this morning's post again βοΈ which also happened to be when we were having breakfast. π₯£
Now we can finish debugging this code together...
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Phew. Alonso is here. My day just got a lot better.
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Just returned home from a short walk to find Alonso waiting for us. π
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Alonso has been thrown out of the kitchen again, and has come upstairs to see if I might intercede on his behalf.
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Alonso's coordination and balance aren't great it must be said. Whenever we see him standing on anything high (like the dam wall by the lac) we wonder if he should really be trusted with that much gravity...
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Took Alonso for his walk to the lac.
π§βπ€βπ§π
On the way back Alonso stood under a tree to rest in the shade. As we were about to walk on he came running up in a big arc and... ran smack into my stationary leg. π₯ This was quite a surprise to both of us, but Alonso tried to style it out π€£

Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Apparently he comes by post now βοΈ
The postie arrived just now, and up the stairs past her trotted Alonso, who would like some breakfast. πΆ
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again. We were expecting storms and an Alonso this afternoon but so far neither have materialized.
We have some of his favorite sausage so I'm sure it won't be long now π
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again. We let Alonso out to have a little poo π©
He decided we were going to the lac and excitedly ran off in that direction.
Unfortunately not feeling up to that today, so we stood at the top of the rise and watched.
He ran down the hill, and stopped looking back at us, wondering why we weren't coming. π
At this point his owner drove up and greeted us. We pointed down the hill "[Alonso] est la". She peered down the hill, at the distant white object, thanked us, and drove down to pick him up π
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again."But what about second breakfast?" asks Alonso, who has just arrived.

Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again. There is a small human that lives with Alonso and today was her first day of school. Aw. π
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again. We have what must be a year's supply of dog food for Alonso. We ordered some, and then his owners gave us a big bag of his "senior" kibble and some chews.
We have been feeding Alonso regular adult dog food, which he evidently prefers.
When given a bit of each he will demolish the adult dog food and ignore the smaller "senior" kibble to first come see what we're eating.
Only when he's *sure* we're finished will he eat his old manny porridge, clearly thinking "I get this rubbish at home!"

Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Thunder, lightning, and... here is Alonso.
π©οΈ πΆ
Absolutely soaked, of course.
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Alonso has been thrown out of the kitchen for bad behaviour.
He is now repeatedly searching every other room in the house for my other half, who he knows perfectly well is in the kitchen preparing dinner.
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Any port in a storm? π©οΈ
Not according to Alonso. He chooses this port specifically.
Another storm, and here he is. At least he managed to get here just before the worst of it hit. It's horrendous out there now.
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Alonso was collected last night after spending the previous two nights in a row here. It now feels strange when Alonso is *not* here.
No storms last night, so hopefully the poor boy got some rest. He was so sleepy yesterday.
Here he is on our way to the lac on International Dog Day.
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Alonso was allowed to stay. His owner texted back to thank us for looking after him. She was still at work and likely to be working late.
We had instant noodles for dinner between power cuts and had an early night as all three of us were shattered. The power was knocked out a few times overnight with more electrical storms π©οΈ
Nuclear power may well be wonderfully stable but, if combined with long runs of overhead power lines, we're often back to rubbing sticks together.
Time to look at solar.
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again. We've told Alonso's owners it's ok for him to stay until tomorrow. I hope they leave him here. When he's run all that way because he's scared I'd rather he's not taken straight back.
There is still thunder rolling out there.
-
Alonso is helping me bisect kernels again.Well, she wasn't wrong. Alonso is back.
We had another huge storm with strikes very close by and the power was knocked off again.
Poor Alonso was out in it and arrived absolutely *soaked* but was too worked up to let us towel him off properly.
Such a brave boy, who deserves some croquettes, non?
