Hey hey friends who get #migraines, can you please share your favorite tips? I seem to be getting a new condition, lolsob. I think it's likely hormonal (i.e. peri/menopause).

Right now things that help are: sometimes caffeine (sometimes that backfires), Tylenol (Advil does little), that headache music I mentioned before, getting off screens and away from bright lights and noise, rest, or VERY gentle movement (like slow zen-walking around the house).

What works for you? (boosts welcome!)

I’ve been organizing music today, into static playlists for use with an MP3 player.

It’s astounding how good this task feels, to break away from streaming services and go back to my own collection of music, algorithm-free and played on a device that isn’t collecting my data in order to exploit me.

I’m not at all being facetious when I say that it feels healing. I love analog but I don’t need analog everything. I want the tech I do use to feel like a tool, not a compromise with the Death Star.

This is so cool! British Sign Language (BSL) has a more flamboyant, creative variant that evolved in the deaf LGBTQ community called gay sign variant (GSV). It developed in the 90's during the AIDS epidemic, but it hasn't been widely adopted, and now these drag queens are trying to keep it going:
