By the time we get down the chain to the ones whose lives are inconvenienced by not driving, they'll be too inconsequential to change policy. I'd instead suggesr we park a bike in front and behind every Waymo in the bike lane. They block the lane, we block their cars.

@nickzoic I looked from backside but the bearings are mostly in the way, but maybe with enough light I can see something. I watched a number of RJ The Bike Guy videos on it, the one Peugeot he had with CCW was from the 70's. Most of the other old ones are all CW.It did turn CW for a good full revolution or more, then got a little tight, got past that for another revolution. He has a video mentioning fixed cup being "rough coming out" so he made a tool to clean out the threads after it was out.https://youtu.be/1IrAGP22V34

@kirk Then installed some of these in my last city... But about a mile away from one of the main work areas. Above the storage was some changing areas and showers.The locks on the storage lockers with flimsy and bike theft was rife as the security was so bad and the area completely open to anyone walking past... and once people parked their bikes or cars and went of to work... almost deserted until around 5pm.Good idea... stupid planning.

Added sides to the homemade cargo trailer. Securing stuff with ratchet straps is a pain and things shifting around to rub on a wheel was getting bothersome.Sides are framed with 1x2 lumber, screened with hardware cloth and attached with 2 carriage bolts with wing nuts. One of our two cycling trips this weekend took us to Marano Lagunare. The old town wasn’t very crowded, so it felt quite pleasant and relaxing—and the same went for our walk through the nearby nature reserve. If something unpleasant arrives at work, I will just do what the ducks did :) #MaranoLagunare #biketooter

I got back on the bicycle today after a day off to protest. Today I rode the Cannon Valley Trail which I consider just a slight step below the Root River State Trail, as it is shorter, but nearly as scenic. Unfortunately the East third of the trail is closed until the middle of next year for repairs and erosion control. To lengthen the ride, I took the adjacent Mill Towns State Trail segment out to Lake Byllesby for a total of 35 miles. It was mostly sunny and warmer.#Biketooter
