Dewy morning in #NHwx

53° (12C) with thin clouds and light breeze. Warm enough to get the family out on some walks today.#NHwx

Took advantage of warm (humid) morning for a run along the river, which is quite full.#running #NHwx

@the5thColumnist I don't have an excuse, the app has a big red record button right on the preview I was using to frame the shot. My brain was congratulating itself on completing the first task and forgot everything else.

Damp morning, just above freezing. The only snow in our yard is the pile shoveled off deck on north side, a little over a foot deep.View of the skinny wire (2mm, 0.08") holding up bird feeder. Despite being so skinny the squirrels still walk down it to the feeder! #NHwx

We didn't get the 2" they forecasted last night (maybe 1/2") but the snow is picking up again. The last week melted away all but the deepest snow in the yard while our fat biking trails are a wide mix of frozen snow, ice sheets, mud, running water, and frozen dirt. If variety is the spice of life, then it's pretty spicy!#NHwx #BikeTooter

66°F‼️ (19C) and once again overdressed for most of the bike ride. Stopped to vote and then climbed hills with legs that don't remember this whole "climbing hills" thing. Going to be 20° cooler tomorrow and maybe snow come Friday. #BikeTooter #NHwx

65°F (18C) so I went for an easy shakeout ride with the gravel bike. That phrase, "rode hard and put up wet" (I think it's about horse saddles) described the gravel bike's chain ... could have sworn it was all cleaned and oiled at the end of last season. Splash of water and some grimacing, it soon rotated properly and away we go. Rail trail, left half snow for skiers in winter right side for everyone else, was thawing fast and soggy. Not as wet as the roads I took on the way back.#BikeTooter #NHwx

@jerzone we have had rain and melting temps for a week now. Trails are gone, just slush. Waiting for freezing temps so I can go and ride anywhere and everywhere.

Is this the last sub-zero morning? Hard to say, but it's going to be a messy week with snow tomorrow and then a cloudy and rainy week? I kind of doubt it, but then again I'm in the pocket of big fat bike. #NHwx

Nice to be home and out on the fat bike. The guys got out with groomer last night before the freeze and it set up nicely!Setup action cam under back seat for a different perspective. @coreysnipes @CheapPontoon The illusion is that the far cup and front cup from this distance look the same size and so it's hard to tell which one is the front, so you're eye will take the easier answer.

A very dark 4am and the phone's night shot mode captured this scene with a 3.4 second photo. Look closely along the woods to the right of the chair and there's a couple deer. Maybe 7-8" new snow? I can't make out the yardstick numbers, but counting "big" divisions starting with 36 at top I think snow is at 17, which would be 7".#NHwx

@jerzone report from northern VT. I pushed 2 inches of snow off my back porch and 30 minutes later had another inch. I'm so glad I blew off my route to do it tomorrow

@jerzone I just see concave vs convex. I grew up without glasses, though I needed them, so I learned other 'cues' Mostly it works.When I finally got glasses, OMG HAIR IS MADE OF STRANDS! I still find this amazing, by the way.

Temperature the past two weeks compared to 2025 &24. It looks like 2026 is trending upwards. #NHwx
