Damp morning, just above freezing. The only snow in our yard is the pile shoveled off deck on north side, a little over a foot deep.
View of the skinny wire (2mm, 0.08") holding up bird feeder. Despite being so skinny the squirrels still walk down it to the feeder!

Oggi è la Festa della Mamma in Palestina.
Il mio pensiero va a tutte le madri ferite, uccise, terrorizzate, in lutto ed esauste a Gaza. A quelle madri che hanno perso tutto, e ancora sopportano l'insopportabile.
Madri che guardano i loro figli e i loro cari morire di fame, uccisi, feriti gravemente o malati senza cure.
Madri i cui figli sono stati rapiti dai soldati israeliani, e a quelle che non sono nemmeno riuscite a dire addio a coloro che hanno perso.
