I have to show off this absolutely unreal quetzal I had the pleasure of seeing in person. Otherwise I don't know if I could have been convinced that it wasn't stuffed animal.

Small to tiny friends from this weekend on the coast. A little blob of goo in a tidepool was actually a beautiful nudibranch! Then the little sparrow-sized blob in a tree turned out to be cute pygmy owl.
