@coreysnipes @CheapPontoon The illusion is that the far cup and front cup from this distance look the same size and so it's hard to tell which one is the front, so you're eye will take the easier answer.

Each level the cups are pointed an alternate direction, but it's super hard (for me anyways) to not think they are all going the same direction. If I stare at one then I can start to figure out its direction, then the others seem to be going that way too.
Being much closer helps.

I modified the center to be easier to print and more symmetric, tweaked the cups a bit.

@coreysnipes Yeah, one of my 3d printed spinners. The center of each level has a skateboard bearing, which is the weak link of the whole system.
And, each level is going a different direction.

We don't have snow falling yet, but the wind has started picking up.

Got the larger SD set up with almost 500 songs copied over. I put it back together and put it on shuffle play. It has been running for 13+ hours and still half the battery left. Backlight turns off after 5 seconds.
The one mod I'd like is to replace the 30 pin connector(!) with USB-C.

Then there's the fake live streams, where they're playing old storm footage. One is evening with lots of people while another looks like mid-day. Scrolling back through the stream it doesn't match up with storm or current time at all.
