Pickles on your burger? -
Meticulously rendering a blank@Gogs
Disappointed to realize this is not likely a clever Curling joke. -
What is the ideal length of a video on a topic you enjoy?@futurebird
I used to follow a guy with a steam powered machine shop. Fascinating stuff. But dude talks so slow. Figured out I could watch at 1.75x speed, and then he sounded like a normal person. LOL -

My YouTube habits are usually to skip anything over 20, except with a few specific channels that I know are going to be interesting & funny throughout. I know who rambles, & who keeps it moving, you know? -
Jebuz, how hard is it to be rich and not a pedophile?@aethernaut @jaredwhite
Yup. This. But I still hope to win the Powerball, just to prove my theory that it’s possible in extremely rare cases to be an exception to this rule.

My favorite job ever: driving for Jefferson Lines - scheduled motorcoach service.Getting mostly poor people where they needed to go. Actually helping people.
What job was I doing when we went almost bankrupt? Yup. Same job.

Me checking my email every morning. The fun thing about this ad is it reminds me of special effect physical-film photography that I used to do in the '80s and '90s.
Like - I can describe in great detail how to build that photograph.
It's what I thought I'd be doing for a career for a while.

Coffee drinkers, how many cups of coffee do you drink a day?Actual answer: between 1 and 2.
1 most days.
Some days 2.
Average probably 8.5/week.
I haven't even STARTED drinking my 1st cup today, but somehow it's feeling like a 2-cup day.

Expert systems are inevitable@calicoday @thomasfuchs
2 things.
1: I was the only boy in my Typing class in H.S. But my ability to touch type (fast) has made possibly the single greatest positive affect on my career.2: 3 of my uncles were in WWII. The youngest of them was very worried he'd become cannon fodder. But they found he could type. He spent the war as a clerk in Eisenhower's office. Ergo, same result for him as for me.
