Apparently chardet got Claude to rewrite the entire codebase from LGPL to MIT? -
We're happy to announce a long-term partnership with Motorola.@GrapheneOS, funny enough, I've just switched from Motorola to Pixels last year because their successive phones were becoming more and more crap, and on the models I've gotten LineageOS barely worked (like, to the point that you had to reboot the phone after every call). Hopefully direct GrapheneOS support will change that.

"""The worst of the internet is continuously attacking the best of the internet."""
The worst of the internet is continuously attacking the best of the internet. This is a distributed denial of service attack on the good parts of the World Wide Web.If you’re using the products powered by these attacks, you’re part of the problem. Don’t pretend it’s cute to ask ChatGPT for something. Don’t pretend it’s somehow being technologically open-minded to continuously search for nails to hit with the latest “AI” hammers.
If you’re going to use generative tools powered by large language models, don’t pretend you don’t know how your sausage is made.

Just to repeat / recap what others have said already.Just to repeat / recap what others have said already.
"No politics in my #OpenSource project" is a political statement. It's a statement of "I'm fine with the status quo, and I don't want to be bothered by people who are hurt because of it."
"Neutrality" doesn't make you look professional. It makes you either look ignorant or complacent.
The whole #FreeSoftware movement is a political movement. So is the idea that you can freely use, modify and redistribute software.
So you should really think where you want to stand. Do you really want to be the complacent fascist enabler, or do you want to actually try making a difference?

You may (or may not) recall the #Freenode takeover mess. You may (or may not) recall the #Freenode takeover mess. However, thanks to #IRC being an open and widely supported protocol, many projects migrated to #LiberaChat with as little disruption as possible.
Good news is, your walled garden is unlikely to suffer the fate of Freenode — because it already is there, from day one. What are you going to do when your project suddenly gets banned and you lose access to everything — including all the data that you shouldn't have kept there in the first place? Of course, come up with some corporate bullshit of "join us on our illustrious journey to the next walled garden, and don't forget to install another 200 MiB privacy nightmare app not to be excluded from our community".
